Woking Cycle Stations

http://www.wokingcyclestations.com/
They take abandoned or donated bikes and turn them in to usable affordable bikes that people can use to get around. We have volunteer mechanics of all ages who are able to transform a bike and get it back on the road and keep people pedling!

Anyone can come along to the project and help us build bikes or simply to repair their bike and learn how to repair / maintain their own bike. The project opperates from the Lakeview Social Center in Woking and is part of the Woking Cycle Town Project. We have sessions on a Saturday morning through the winter from September through till March and a regular tuesday evening session.

The project is set up as a Community Interest Company that allows us to trade the bikes we build but also to return any profits back into the company.
